Their smooth motion makes good for small projects that need a dial indicator, and more precision motion than you may get with a needle gauge.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSince this is a \u003cstrong\u003ebi-polar stepper motor\u003c\/strong\u003e you do need to have some sort of \u003cstrong\u003eH-Bridge\u003c\/strong\u003e to drive it. A L293D or TB6612 will do the job nicely.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you have a microcontroller that can drive 200ohm loads you might be able to use the direct pins without extra MOSFETs, just remember to include kickback\/flyback protection diodes!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePlease note: \u003c\/strong\u003eThe motor is quite 'weak', not good for moving anything but a light indicator.
